  • Inquiry and contact data: name, email, message content, optional service selection and visit dates submitted through our form
  • Commission data: correspondence, layout preferences, book serial numbers, shipping addresses for domestic courier
  • Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and optional analytics cookies if you accept them
  • Payment records: amounts and dates processed through our business accounts (we do not store full card numbers on this website)

3. How we use data

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule studio visits
  • Produce, deliver, and repair bound volumes
  • Maintain serial records for refill matching
  • Improve website content and security
  • Meet legal and tax obligations in South Korea

Processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests (studio operations and security), consent (analytics cookies), and legal obligation where applicable under Korean law.

5. Retention

Inquiry emails: up to 24 months unless a commission follows. Commission records and layout files: up to 10 years for refill reference. Server logs: up to 12 months. Analytics data: per provider settings when enabled.

6. Sharing

We share data with:

  • Domestic courier services for delivery
  • Payment processors and banks for transactions
  • IT hosting providers for email and website hosting
  • Professional advisers when required by law

We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Primary systems are located in South Korea or jurisdictions with comparable safeguards. If data is transferred elsewhere, we apply appropriate contractual protections.

8. Your rights

9. Security

We use TLS for the website, access controls on studio systems, and physical security at the workshop. No method of transmission is completely secure.

10. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
